The universe in which Unreal Plains is set is largely based on medieval times with the addition of magical and mythical creatures, abilities, things etc.
In this universe 4 races exist, humans, elves, conjurers and druids, each with their own set of skills and knowledge.
Once there were four great empires, the humans had theirs, the elves had theirs, the conjurers had theirs and the druids had theirs.
After thousands of years of existing in peace and harmony the Empire of Men suddenly cut off all trade and communications with the other empires. Not knowing what was going on but fearing they were preparing for war the other empires started to do the same. After this the Empire of Men quickly resumed communications trying to explain that a group of traitors had taken over power temporarily but everything was back to normal now. The druids and elves accepted this but the conjurers believed this to be an attempt to get them to stand down for a pending invasion.
The conjurers sent their troops to the outskirts of the Empire of Men and spies to the other empires. This action triggered a war that would last for 3000 years and destroy all empires in the world and leave only ruins left where the magnificent castles once stood.
It's 300 years after the war and all four different races have united under the Federation of Independent Associations in their common struggle against the various rebel groups that have formed since the ancient empires had fallen. United the Federation outnumbers the rebels by unimaginable numbers, however the rebels are still capable of causing a great deal of trouble with their infiltration techniques. This is why the Federation seeks to eliminate all known rebel groups.
Humans are skilled in close combat battles.
Elves are skilled in ranged attacks.
Conjurers are skilled in sorcery and prefer attack from a distance.
Druids use the elemental forces to their advantage in battle.
Combat gives you a slight increase in both damage and accuracy when attacking.
Stealth makes it more difficult for your enemy to know where you are and therefore hit you less in battles.
Healing decreases the cost at which you can heal yourself and others.
Summoning decreases the cost at which you can summon spirits, animals etc.
